This was my first car. Baby blue and white with 4 doors. It was just right!

The most important thing, it had a radio.

I bought it from my uncle Jack, knowing it was fine. He really made it shine.

Then he said $200. Please.

So now that I have wheels. This car will take me near and far.

And I can go any where I please.

Pop bottles I’d collect, for the deposits I would get.

To put gas in the car, After all 19 cents a gallon is not a small amount.

This car was the best!! And it was all mine.

I was so cool, roll down the windows, turn up the radio and just cruise.

Of course Fridays & Saturday nite you had to cruise the loop.

Drive – In movies we would wait for ONE DOLLAR NIGHT!!!

You would pack the car with as many kids as you could get in.

You see there were no seat belts then..

El-RANCHO drive -in, I remember it well.

Remembering when the breaks went out going down the hill ., Mickey was yelling 

Step on the breaks.[ I was already standing up on the breaks}. 

Lucky the emergency break worked.

Their always seem to be a delema.

The grocery store, was one of those, It sat up on a hill, so I park my car in a flat spot,I could see.and went inside. All of a sudden the commotion began. So I went outside

To see my 59 Ford,teetering on the hill.

Their we no cell phones then, so I went to the phone booth to call for a tow..

How much more embrassment could there be for me.??? And my 59 Ford.
