Here I am an AARP-ETTE, getting older by the day.

I never thought this day would arrive. But here it is you see.

But never mind age is but a number, it doesn’t mean a thing.

Yes my body is slower, and creekier today, than it was Yesterday.

But age is but a number. It doesn’t mean a thing.

What happens is, it always brings plenty of rewards, that would not be there,

If you hadn’t live them.

In your minds eye, your young, as you can be.  It tells you, you can do anything.

Yes I’m a senior citizen, I get the senior discount what ever that might be.

People are happy to help you, they will hold a door or give up their seat.

How kind they can be.

Age is just a number, so keep your mind in touch. With the world around you.

You still can learn so much.

You’re not old this I am told. So keep your mind in touch.

Listen to your minds eye, it will tell you what you can do.

Just have fun! This time can be so special for you.

Embrace everything around you and everything you do.

Remember,Age is just a number.
