The birds are singing, singing in the trees.

What are they telling us? Should they be flying south?

It’s to warm, for this time of year.

The snow should be coming soon, and the temperature should drop.

As they are chirping in the trees, what are they trying say?

The fish are swimming in the water, they are not as big as they use to be.

Nor are there as many of them, as there use to be.

The sky is not bright as it used to be ,a haze lays over us,

It blocks the sun you see.

The birds are singing, singing in the trees.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist, to know what we should do.

Maybe clean energy, with electric cars and solar panels

Or just not drive so much. Maybe we could catch a bus or a train?

Doing walking would do us all some good.

The birds are chirping, telling us we need to make a change.
